New Narcotics Event History — a complete, vial-by-vial audit trail.
You now have the ability to pull up the full history of any individual vial and see exactly how it has moved through your Agency — from the moment it entered inventory to its most recent activity.
Every safe secures access. Narcotics Event History goes further: it shows you the complete chain of custody for a single vial, in one view. Who added it, when, and every time it was placed into or removed from a safe after that — by location and by user. No paper logs to cross-reference, no piecing together a timeline after the fact.
If an inspector asked you to account for one specific vial today, you'd have the answer in seconds. That's the point: audit-ready at any time, not just when an audit is scheduled.
This capability is available to Administrators as part of your Narcotics Tracking.
Getting to a vial's history takes two clicks in the web console:
The pop-up opens with that vial's complete event history.
The history begins at the beginning: the time the vial was originally added into inventory, and the user who added it.
From there, it lays out a complete audit of every movement throughout your organization — each time the vial was added to a safe or removed from a safe — showing the location (which safe) and the user responsible for each event. You can narrow the view by timeframe to focus on a specific window of activity.
A missing vial shouldn't mean a missing answer. With a complete, timestamped record of every hand and every safe a vial has passed through, your team can prove accountability instead of assuming it — and protect itself if a discrepancy is ever questioned.
If it isn't automatically tracked, it isn't truly controlled. Narcotics Event History makes sure every vial's movement is on the record.
