Add a second layer of protection to every login. A password alone is no longer the only thing standing between your account and your controlled substances.

What Is It?

Two-factor authentication is a security process that requires a person to verify his or her identity using two separate methods before gaining access to an account or system.

For MedixSafe, Customers using this feature will be first required to enter their username, password, and subdomain – just as they have always had to previously.

You will then be prompted to enter a 6-digit code to verify your identity. That code would have been sent to the designated email address when the feature was set up. The code is valid for ??? minutes.

Why Use Two-Factor Authentication?

Activating this feature adds an extra layer of protection because a password alone is not enough to access the account.

Given authorized administrators have the ability to add and delete users who have access to Controlled Substances, it is advisable for Customer to take advantage of this additional level of security.
