Give people exactly the access they need — and nothing more.

What Is It?

Two new roles let you grant narcotics access without handing over the keys to everything else:

• Narcotics Administrator — can view and manage narcotics in the console, including inventory and the event log. This role does not include access to users, devices, or groups.
• Witness — can sign off on narcotics events as a second person. Witnesses don’t sign in to the console and can’t open a safe on their own.

Why it matters

Good accountability depends on the right people having the right access — and only that. The Narcotics Administrator role lets a compliance lead own narcotics oversight without touching device or user settings. The Witness role brings a second set of eyes into your chain of custody without creating a full console login or safe-access credential. Least privilege, built in.
